he smoky overtone of this elegant Champagne is richly aromatic, wafting through flavors of toasted brioche, glazed apricot and lemon meringue pie. Fine and creamy, with a well-knit, lightly spiced finish. Drink now through 2026

The 2007 Brut Belle Epoque is maturing gracefully on cork, mingling aromas of nougat and freshly baked bread with hints of lemon curd, white flowers and fresh peach. Medium to full-bodied, fine-boned and pillowy, it's an elegant, charming wine with a refined pinpoint mousse and a nicely defined finish.

Producer
Perrier-Jouët
Perhaps the most recognizable bottles in the appellation, Perrier-Jouët’s painted Belle Époque labels can be instantly identified by their flowery Art Nouveau embellishments. The marriage of Pierre-Nicolas Perrier and Adèle Jouët in 1811 set the stage for the now 200-year-old Maison Perrier Jouët. Currently owned by the Pernod Ricard group, the Champagne House is historically known for being one of the pioneers that led to the world’s first Brut in 1856. Today, the dryer styled Grand Brut exemplifies the classic house spirit, with a floral, elegant and structured Champagne. Widely acclaimed for its Belle Époque, and not only for the wines’ decorated bottles, but for its impressive tightly wound style of a Chardonnay-based Champagne. Characterized by the large presence of Chardonnay, the maison also produces a compelling Brut Rosé, and a delicate Belle Époque Rosé.
