his racy Champagne is driven as much by its crackling acidity as it is by the very fine, vivid mousse, which offers a layered framework for the rich mesh of pastry cream, lemon curd, poached apricot and almond biscotti flavors. Lightly toasty on the satiny finish. Drink now through 2024.
Producer
Laurent Perrier
André Michel Pierlot, a former cooper and bottler from Chigny-les-Roses, founded what later became the House of Laurent-Perrier in 1812. The house was purchased by the de Nonancourt family in 1939, and with respect for traditional values, Bernard de Nonancourt shaped the brand through his independent spirit and creative audacity. He revived the vinification processes at the house, reintroducing the traditional Methode Champenoise, as well as modernizing both the technical and blending processes. Headed by cellar master, Alain Terrier, the wines continue to show their unique history and personality through his specialized art of blending. Today, Laurent-Perrier Champagnes are known for their delicate freshness, elegance and heighten longevity.
