One of the region’s greatest producers, Feudi di San Gregorio, carries its well-earned reputation as Italy’s most innovative wineries. Situated in the Avellino hills of Campania, this estate is best known for their first-class Aglianico wines. These long-lived wines, labelled as Taurasi DOCG, have the persistence to age beautifully for more than 50 years. Founded by Enzo Ercolino and his wife, Mirella Capaldo in the 1980s, the winery has become an upstanding reference-point for Campania’s indigenous grape varieties, like Fiano, Aglianico and Greco di Tufo. Today, the estate offers a unique range of quality white, red and sparkling wines. Their collection includes Taurasi, which is considered one of the country’s most complex and powerful reds, as well as Serpico - a mighty Aglianico bottling, and a delicious white, Fiano di Avellino. Through the work of winemaker, Riccardo Cotarella and famed French Champagne producer, Anselme Selosse, Feudi di San Gregorio also crafts a series of high-end sparkling wines.
