A unique estate, owned by the just as corky, Joseph Roty who refuses to disclose any specific information about his vineyard, including the size, the age of the vines, the annual production and so on. But this property continues to be one of Burgundy’s finest productions. With a large cult following, this small estate sits in the northern part of the Côte d’Or within the region of Côtes de Nuits. Roty’s family has been producing wine since the 1700s, and today his son, Philippe runs the domaine. Rich and powerful, their rare bottlings are full-colored and vigorously fruity. Domaine Joseph Roty is best known for their impeccable Mazis-Chambertin and Charmes-Chambertin creations.
