The 1995 possesses an impressively-saturated, ruby/purple color, and a sweet nose of blueberries and black-raspberries intermingled with vague scents of sweet oak and minerals. Ripe and medium-bodied, but noticeably tannic, this well-endowed, muscular, backward wine will require 4-5 years of cellaring despite its low acidity. A very fine effort, it should keep for 10-12 years. Last tasted 11/97
