Süsses Bouquet; helle Schokolade, reife Pflaumen, Nussnoten. Im Gaumen aussen schmeichelnd, fett und Fleisch zeigend, feine Rasse und gute Länge, das Finale wird von einem zarten, jedoch passenden Carameltouch begleitet. 17/20 2009 – 201890 Wine SpectatorPlummy and smoky with plenty of good fruit. Full-bodied, round and velvety. Long finish. Solid wine. Needs bottle age. Best after 2008. ?JS 86 Robert ParkerThis is a dark plum/ruby-hued, charming, but insubstantial effort displaying a deep ruby color, immediately appealing but light currant, cherry, and herb-tinged notes, elegant, medium-bodied flavors with hints of currants and sweet cherries, and a soft finish. It is ideal for drinking over the next 3-4 years. Producer Château NeninChâteau Nenin stands as one of the grandest properties in Pomerol, lying on the outskirts of the Catusseau village. The property is home to 25 hectares of vineyards and a beautiful 19th century château. Since 1997, the estate has been owned by the Delon family of châteaux Léoville Las Cases and Potensac. The wine is a blend of mostly Merlot with smaller parts of Cabernet Franc (20%) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). Aged in 50% new oak barrels for 18 months, Nenin is a deep, fruit-forward red. The famed Michel Rolland also consults for the château.
