Guillot Clauzel 2008 75cl

Tasted at the Syndicat de Pomerol. The Guillot Clauzel has an attractive, raspberry and strawberry scented bouquet with well-integrated vanillary new oak, gaining lift and definition with each swirl of the glass. Dare I say, it reminds me of Le Pin! The palate is well balanced with fine tannins, very attractive purity and focus here with just the right acidity livening the finish. This is beautifully crafted with great freshness, vitality and complexity. This is a lovely 2008 from Guillot-Clauzel. Tasted December 2010.

Aufhellendes Rubin, transparenter Rand. Schlankes Bouquet, unreife Johannisbeeren, deshalb eher sauer im Ansatz. Dropsiger, komisch-süsser Gaumen, angenehm, aber tendenziell eindimensional. beginnen (2013 - 2024)
