Internationally renowned and located in the heart of Piedmont, La Spinetta was founded in 1977 by the Rivetti brothers, and it has become famous for its production of high-quality wines, particularly those made from Nebbiolo and Barbera varieties.
The company owns vineyards in some of the most prestigious wine-growing areas of Piedmont, including Barbaresco, Barolo, Moscato d'Asti, and Barbera d'Asti. This diversity of terroirs allows La Spinetta to produce a wide range of wines that express the distinctive characteristics of each area. One of La Spinetta's most renowned wines is the Barbaresco Starderi, made from grapes sourced from the Starderi estate in Neive. This wine exemplifies the precision and elegance that have become hallmarks of the company. Other iconic wines are the Barolo Campé di Merli, Moscato d'Asti Bricco Quaglia, and Barbera d'Asti Ca' di Pian.
La Spinetta's philosophy is based on the idea of combining tradition and innovation to create world-class wines. The company adopts modern winemaking techniques and constantly experiments with new approaches, while remaining faithful to the rich history and winemaking traditions of the region.
