Brunello di Montalcino Riserva 2009 75cl

A stella is born: The 2009 Brunello di Montalcino offers abundant proof that this is, hands down, the most promising estate in Montalcino. I’m not sure how she does it. This beautiful Brunello offers a flawless sense of finesse and balance with an intricate corniche of dried flowers, currants, tar and licorice. The focus is impeccable and so is the polished, but firm nature of the mouthfeel. Among all the 2009 Brunellos, this is my favorite wine. Drink: 2017-2030.
