Embocadero Viña El Águila 2010 75cl

The 2010 Embocadero Vina El Aguila is aged for 14 months in new French, American and Hungarian oak. There is a slight tinny element on the nose that suggests just a day or two of over-maceration perhaps. The palate is sweet and rounded on the entry with gripping dark cherry and blackberry fruit interlaced with white pepper and thyme. The finish has plenty of vigor and great length, but it will need 3-5 years to come round. Drink 2014-2020.
